Come look for signs of spring in the forest and at the beach at this beautiful County park. We’ll look and listen for forest birds, and also do some “botanizing”, along a 3/4-mile, fully accessible trail before descending to a cobbly beach. The tide will be low enough to walk along the upper shore in search of the loons, grebes, ducks, geese, alcids and shorebirds that haven’t yet migrated to their breeding grounds. We’re also likely to see bald eagles and great blue herons in addition to some great views of the Straits of Georgia and the San Juan Islands.
