We had a Golden Eagle sitting atop our neighbor’s fir tree for over 1/2 hr on Tuesday evening. Never seen one here on Eldridge Ave. before.

I have had a Selaphorus sp hummingbird at my feeder everyday for the past month. I am curious to know if anyone else has noted the same at their feeders?

Please let me know. Also if you want to see and verify the bird let me know.
    Thanks!

    Date today is 10/28.

  3. Denis Hayner says:

Great egret at Pattle Point trestle ~8:00 am on Nov 7, 2015.

  4. Amy C. says:

I’d really like to see some owls. Where is a good place to view and time to go?

    • Pam Borso says:

Right now, Barred owls are often in deep woodsy settings, along Whatcom Creek, at Point Whitehorn at the Stimpson Forest even the Interurban Trail. Listen for other birds mobbing them: Crows, Robins and such
