IMPORTANT NOTE: A passport, NEXUS card or enhanced driver’s license is required for border crossing. Let us know if you have a NEXUS card. We would like to have at least one vehicle (the leaders’) that has all NEXUS card holders.

George Reifel Sanctuary in Ladner B.C. is one of the premier birding spots of the Pacific Northwest. Hopefully, late February should still be good for viewing hawks, eagles, owls, sparrows, woodpeckers, and a variety of waterfowl. If we have an early spring, some early migrants may be possible. 

To accommodate 16 persons, three 4-passenger vehicles will be needed in addition to the leaders’ vehicle. The gate fee at Reifel is $5 for adults and $3 for seniors. Bring a sack lunch. There is a nice warming cabin in which to eat.
