North Cascades Audubon Society presents a 2-hour class on introduction to backyard bird identification. Instructors will show slides of birds in breeding and non-breeding plumage and discuss feeding, nesting and behavior of birds around Bellingham. Course content will include discussion of best practices for bird watching and tips for buying binoculars. Coordinates with field trips to practice bird-watching skills.
