Marine Birds of the Salish Sea: How to identify Common Seabirds in the North Puget Sound Area Zoom Class

North Cascades Audubon Society will present  a  free 2-hour class on seabird identification, including the most commonly seen Salish Sea diving birds. Species included are loons, grebes, cormorants, scoters, alcids, some gulls and others. Instructors Paul Woodcock and Pam Borso will show slides of birds in breeding and non-breeding plumage and discuss feeding, nesting and wintering habits around the Salish Sea.

The first open field trip opportunity following class with be at Semiahmoo Spit, Saturday, November 6 at 9 AM. You must register separately online for this free field trip (Max Capacity of 12).
