The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join other birders each month to explore a new birding hotspot within walking, biking, or bussing distance from downtown Bellingham. This month, we will be exploring Little Squalicum Park on Bellingham’s north side. Little Squalicum Park has wooded and shrubby habitat along the trail, as well as a beach with views of Bellingham Bay. We will meet at the Bay to Baker parking lot on the corner of Marine Drive and W Illinois St. For those interested in biking, a group will leave from Cafe Velo downtown at 9:00 am.
