  • Fairhaven Park 107 Chuckanut Dr N Bellingham, WA United States (map)

The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join other birders each month to explore a new birding hotspot within walking, biking, or busing distance from downtown Bellingham. This month, we will be exploring Hundred Acre Woods. Hundred Acre Woods offers a mixture of mature forest, wetlands, and shrubby habitat, giving opportunities for a wide variety of species; including Varied Thrushes, owls, woodpeckers, and more. We will meet on February 12 at 9:30 AM at the Fairhaven Park entrance parking area. For those interested in biking, a group will leave from Café Velo downtown at 9:00 a.m.. For accessibility information, see the Chuckanut Community Forest entry on Birdability.org.
