Have you thought about leading a field trip for North Cascades Audubon, but are unsure about where to start? NCAS is always looking for folks who love birds and sharing the joys of their favorite birding spots with others to lead field trips. All it takes is the desire to bring people together around birds. Join Field Trip Coordinator Alex Jeffers to learn everything you need to know about leading trips; no bird expertise required! We will meet on September 17 at 9:00 am at the Cornwall Ave Entrance Parking Area. For those interested in biking, a group will leave from Cafe Velo downtown at 9:00 am. North Cascades Audubon Society follows all local, state, and federal laws regarding COVID-19. As of March 18, 2022 Washington State does not require face coverings or vaccination for NCAS activities. Masks are no longer required in many places, individuals may want to continue to wear a mask for added protection against COVID-19, including those who are immunocompromised, those living with someone immunocompromised, or simply those who may just feel safer wearing a mask. Everyone should assess their own personal risk when making this decision. Additionally, everyone should continue to use COVID-19 prevention measures such as staying up to date on vaccination, handwashing, testing, and staying home when you’re sick.
