Sehome Arboretum

Meet at Sehome Arboretum Parking Lot.

Join us as we explore the forested trails of the Sehome Arboretum, one of the natural gems of Bellingham. Placed in between Sehome High School and Western Washington University, the Arboretum is popular with students, yet remains a quiet place to walk, reflect, and, of course, look for birds. Year round species include Varied Thrushes, Pacific Wrens, and a variety of woodpeckers. The Arboretum is also home to several resident owls. We will meet at the Sehome Arboretum parking lot (located just past WWU's Commissary building) and explore from there. Trail conditions vary; be sure to bring sturdy shoes, as well as weather appropriate clothing, water, and a snack if you'd like.
