While many species of waterfowl will still be present on the waters of Semiahmoo and Drayton Harbor as we progress into spring, May is when we also start searching to find migratory songbirds on the spit and adjacent wooded shorelines. With a little luck and some effort we should be able to locate over 40 species on this trip. Expect to see Rufus hummingbirds, orange crowned and Wilson’s Warblers and common yellowthroats, among others, plus common resident species. Beginning birders are welcome and will find support from more experienced participants. Please join us!
