About this event
When: Thursdays, January 6, 13, 20 and 27; 7-8:30 PM on Zoom
Cost: $45 for NCAS members and $60 for non-members
For a lot of birders, gulls and terns are the most ho-hum of all birds. We see some gulls picking at pieces of something in the parking lot, and we say, "Oh, they're just some gulls." And we move on. However, if we pass them by, we are dismissing one of the most wondrous of all bird families, a group of survivors who are smart enough to figure out how to live among us humans while retaining their wildness. Let master birder and author Connie Sidles show you the glories of our gulls and terns in a four-part series. She promises you'll never pass them by again. Suitable for beginners and intermediate birders.
Registration opens November 1. You may cancel up to January 3 and receive a full refund minus a $5.00 processing fee.
