The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join other birders each month to explore a new hotspot within walking, biking, or busing distance from downtown Bellingham. This month we will be exploring Cornwall Memorial Park. Cornwall Park offers one of the few mature forest canopies in Bellingham’s Park system, giving opportunities for Varied Thrush, Brown Creepers, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, and more. For those interested in biking, a group will leave from Café Velo downtown at 9 AM. For accessibility information, see the Cornwall Park entry on Birdability.org
Time: 9:30 - 11 AM: Meet at the Cornwall Avenue entrance parking lot.
