This film follows a California brown pelican called Gigi - from her "arrest" on the Golden Gate Bridge, to her wildlife rehabilitation care and explores the survival challenges of these birds. This film shows their Pacific coast migration, and exploring pelican's nesting grounds. Morro's story is also featured: a backyard pelican with a wing injury, and how he survives backyard pelican life. There are many struggles of a pelican such as the amount of fish available, oil spills, and climate change. This film covers many aspects and follows the lives of pelicans to help us become even more educated on this beautiful, once endangered bird.
