Meet at Fairhaven Park Entrance
The parks and neighborhoods of Bellingham offer birders a wide array of unique habitats to explore. Join other birders each month to explore a new birding hotspot within walking, biking, or bussing distance from downtown Bellingham. This month, we will partner with Whatcom Land Trust to explore Hundred Acre Wood. Hundred Acre Wood offers a mixture of mature forest, wetlands, and shrubby habitat, giving opportunities for a wide variety of species; including flycatchers, owls, woodpeckers, and more. We will meet on September 24 at 9:30 am at the Fairhaven Park Entrance. For accessibility information, see the Chuckanut Community Forest entry on Birdability.org.
